A tribute to Chorion - TV and Media
TV and Media
Chorion has led the way in using modern technologies not only to promote their authors, but also to support educational programmes and access and applications to new mediums. For example, just prior to their closure, Chorion had negotiated a partnership between a technology company, app developer Scrollmotion, and the Roger Hargreaves franchise to enable Mr Men and Little Miss titles to make their way onto iPhone and iPod Touch Apps for the first time.
So far the titles turned into Apps are Mr Happy, Mr Tickle, Mr Bump, Mr Messy, Mr Mischief, Mr Perfect, Mr Funny, Mr Grumpy and Little Miss Sunshine, Little Miss Chatterbox, Little Miss Giggles, Little Miss Stubborn, Little Miss Fun, Little Miss Naughty, Little Miss Bossy and Little Miss Trouble.
Businesses would often like to have business premises in various locations because it holds many benefits including being more ‘attractive’ to potential local customers. There is obviously one massive drawback though, especially for small businesses and that’s cost. However, you can still create this illusion at a fraction of the cost with virtual numbers. You can use these telephone numbers for television and other advertising campaigns to try and ‘capture’ local custom.
The Mr Bump Game app reportedly broke into the top 100 UK games on its launch day.
Additionally, the Mr Men appeared successfully on Specsavers advertisements, and are now co-branded with them globally.
